A Summer Sensation: Cantaloupe Milk

Summer breezes call for ease — and it doesn’t get much easier than this one!

I don’t know about you, but I wait all year for the sweet, juicy fruits of summer — and yet, sometimes, sadly, they disappoint. Let’s talk cantaloupe for example. It’s really difficult to pick the perfect one in the market — sometimes they’re too hard, or they lack flavor or the texture is too mealy. Bummer. But you can’t know until you cut in.

Regardless, they still pack an immune-boosting, nutritional and digestive punch — and I’ve got the simplest recipe in the world to save the day!


  • ½ Ripe Cantaloupe
  • 1/8 cup of water (or a creamier substitute like almond, cashew or coconut milk)
  • 1 tsp of maple syrup


  1. Cut your cantaloupe into cubes discarding the seeds
  2. Toss into your blender
  3. Add a splash of liquid of your choice
  4. Add maple syrup 

Et voila! That’s it. Refreshing. Nutritious. Delicious.
