A Garden Café OG smoothie recipe packed with the sweetness of nourishment and delight

This recipe is a cross between a smoothie and a milkshake, with the cashew-based ice cream you get awesome protein and our preferred Organic Nectars product uses the best ingredients. Bananas are brain food, packed with vitamin C, B6, minerals such as potassium, copper and magnesium, the list goes on. Blueberries, the king of super foods; in fact Anthony William aka the Medical Medium proclaims them to be the most powerful food on the planet. They help remove toxins, are a cancer preventative, filled with antioxidants and help restore the liver.

What you’ll need:

  • 12 oz. glass
  • Blender

  • 1 large scoop of your favorite non-dairy chocolate ice cream*
  • 1/2 cup blueberries, fresh or frozen
  • 2” piece of banana
  • 1 TBS maple syrup or to taste
  • Soy milk or non-dairy milk of choice (enough to fill glass)**

*We use Organic Nectars Cashew Ice Cream

**Eden Soy milk is our favorite (just two ingredients, soybeans and water)

Note: We use the glass to measure the perfect pour, so if you use a larger or smaller size, you won’t go wrong.

Blend and enjoy!

Cheers to Pam Brown who founded the café and passed along this recipe — and a legacy of nourishing ourselves with healthy foods.
